Roles & Responsibilities

Summary of the position

As Compliance Expert DIA APAC Country Support you will contribute to the comprehensive compliance program for Roche Diagnostics APAC. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the architecture and implementation of the governance and strategic framework for compliance and business sustainability, to support the countries in APAC and ensure sustainable growth. You will effectively foster and further strengthen a culture of integrity, drive compliance risk and opportunity management and state of the art compliance programs, foster continuous improvement of the compliance and business sustainability processes, supporting the organization with an effective and proactive business oriented approach.

Main tasks of the position

1. Implementation of the compliance initiatives in the APAC region, according to the Core Compliance Team decisions and divisional and regional strategy.
2. Key enabler of sustainable business operations by providing highest quality compliance advice that includes the identification, management and improvement of key compliance risks across the region to support risk management and compliance assurance.
3. Supporting local Compliance Officers and business teams in compliance projects, by hands on involvement and delivering value locally under the leadership of local Compliance Officer
4. Designing and implementing Training Programs for country organizations and external Business Partners in cooperation with local Compliance Officers
5. Driving standardization and one Roche approach by specialization and applying above market compliance rules interpretation

Qualifications of the position

• Education:
  • University Degree (or MBA or other relevant Post Graduate qualification), preferably in the Legal, Finance, Economics, Business, Administration, Audit area.
• Professional experience/duration:
  • Experience in Audit, Compliance, Risk, Assurance, Governance or Finance, ideally with regional exposure and cross-cultural experience.

Job Scope

The Business Analyst is a functional expert on a specific business process as well as the applications automating these business processes.

QA Engineer - Manufacturing Industry

Job Scope:

- Maintain updated and accurate documents and records on ISO 9001, 14001 and 13485 system (includes Quality Manual, Procedures, Work Instructions, Forms, etc.) to ensure system compliance and ready for Management Review.

- Plan and conduct internal and external audits to ensure readiness of all sections for third party certification body, management review and customer audits.

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to participate in customer or supplier audits for compliance

- Review audit findings and develop action plans to drive continuous improvements.

- Generate and review quality reports on suppliers’ performance and work with suppliers to address non-conforming materials, and drive for continuous improvement.

Your Challenge

As a member of the Software Quality Control team, you develop and execute test plans to identify software problems on physical machines and in simulated setups. You are the testing point of contact in Singapore and will work closely together with on-site engineers and developers as well as your software quality control colleagues globally.

Responsibilities

The regional software quality control engineer, responsible for outgoing software quality in the South East Asia (SEA) region, will have following responsibilities in the Software Quality Control team:

• You develop software test plans according to product specification, customer use cases and end user expectations.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency.
• Identify and implement process improvements based on lean manufacturing principles
• Supervise and mentor the quality assurance team, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
• Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organization.
• Ensure the manufacturing facility maintains ISO certification.
• Coordinate and oversee all ISO-related activities, including internal and external audits.
• Act as the main point of contact for ISO certification bodies.
• Serve as the Management Representative (MR) for the QMS.
• Report to top management on the performance of the QMS and any need for improvements.
• Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• 5 - 8 years’ experience working in quality assurance is required.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using quality management software and tools.
• Certification in quality management (e.g., CQE, CQM) is preferred.
• Six Sigma certification is beneficial but not mandatory.

1. Perform daily periodic checks of Central Kitchen to ensure compliance to in-house GMP/GHP standards, SOP, Product Specifications, etc.

2. Conduct random checks on incoming raw materials, and perform product cutting on raw materials to ensure goods received are within in-house specifications.

3. Ensure Process Verification and Validation exercise are completed (i.e. SOP/CCP verification, new product launch process observation, monthly facility checks, monthly traceability exercise, finished goods shelf-life verification, etc.)

4. Conduct investigations on product/process non-conformance (on-line and customer complaints) and follow-up on proposed corrective/preventive measures to ensure effectiveness.

5. Promptly follow-up with contractors (chemical/pest control) during routine servicing to ensure work orders are conducted as per contract.

6. Participate and engage in quality system implementation (audit activities by regulatory/certification bodies and customers).

7. Conduct data/trend analysis on non-conformity of raw material/finished goods, pest reporting statistics, monthly production and facility check statistics, etc. for process and quality improvement.

8. Ensure analysis of food products via microbiological and physical testing, calibration of lab equipment and measurement tools, internal sensory evaluation are conducted as per schedule.

9. Report all non-conformances, discrepancies and/or deviations, and follow-up on the investigation of the non-conformity results.
