Job Description
As a Regional Head of Construction & Facilities, you lead the Construction & Facilities function within your Region, supporting all markets and brands. You are responsible for creating and driving regional plans for C&F and ensure optimal spend of portfolio investments and running cost, high quality execution and strong partnerships with external service providers, based on global strategic direction. You’ll be a key person for securing strong execution of the overall Expansion plans within the region.
You are a result driven, strategic and analytical person with great business mindset combined with a visionary approach. You have strong managerial skills and are a visionary leader, who effectively collaborate with groups of diverse people and communicate in an inspiring way. You are able to work strategically, by planning ahead and foresee opportunities and improvements. You embrace and implement changes to continuously improve processes and ways of working. You represent our brands towards external parties with the highest level of professionalism and always in line with Code of Ethics.
Key responsibilities
- Set and implement short- and long-term department goals & strategy together with the Expansion Leadership team and other stakeholders; secure that the short & long-term regional strategy is reflected in all procurement, energy saving, and sustainability activities by working closely with your team members.
- Ensure best-filled partners to enable expansion, service delivery and optimize overall investment and cost levels.
- Secure that projects and maintenance are managed in a professional way and ready on time, with expected quality.
- Distribute projects and service scope workload to the team taking into consideration project complexity, size of service scope, opening dates, and geographical/logistic aspects.
- Leas and drive high professionalism of Construction & Facility teams in your market by giving clear feedback on development areas, providing ideas, and promoting cross-department and cross-brand collaboration.
Qualifications
As Regional Head of Construction & Facilities, you act as an ambassador for the customer-centric shift, have a growth mindset and encourage cross-functional collaboration.
What you need to succeed:
- Leadership experience, project & facility management.
- Experience from working in an international, matrix organization with several stakeholders and seniority levels.
- Good understanding about technical installations (such as HVAC, fire safety systems, electrical installations etc.), procurement, health & safety, facility or construction management techniques.
- Strong business mindset, negotiation skills and excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility to travel within the markets on a frequent basis.
