Job Description

• Automation production line, process control, process improvement and cost saving project.
• Develop Work Instruction (WI), Procedure and Process Control related to Production Process.
• Leading, supervising and managing a team of supervisors and production workers.
• Improve continually existing operation for increased quality, productivity, efficiency and cost savings.
• Identify ways to reduce production costs through recommendations; i.e. new process equipment and equipment justification to improve performance.
• Enhance operating efficiency and productivity by effective maintenance of equipment, reducing wastage, eliminating pilferage, and keeping proper documentation and records on production operation, including all consumable inventory management.
• Work closely with technical and quality assurance team to maintain quality of products.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or equivalent.

Assistant Tax Manager

Responsibilities:

• To manage the submission of Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax, Indirect Tax, Transfer Pricing and other statutory returns to tax authorities.
• Oversee the tax compliance process and adapt to challenges in the process
• To liaise with tax authorities in connection with tax enquiries, appeals, refunds and others.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and implement strategies to minimize tax liabilities for the Group
• To monitor training programs and provide tax trainings/ updates to staff and finance teams
• To assume other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by the Head of Department

Qualification & Experience:

• Accounting Degree or equivalent a minimum of between 3 - 5 years of tax experience ideally with a mix of Big 4 companies with commercial tax experience with an established MNC
• Professional qualification is an added advantage (CTIM/MIA/ACCA/CPA etc)
• In-depth knowledge of Malaysia's corporate tax, indirect taxes, transfer pricing regulations, employer’s tax obligations with a thorough understanding of accounting principles, MFRS and IFRS
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia

Responsibilities/ Key Activities:

Regulatory Affairs

• Accountable to monitor the new / changes in South East Asia Regulatory requirements (including industry trends & practices), inform Internal Stakeholders and adapt Regulatory strategies accordingly and timely.

Regulatory Compliance

Responsibilities/ Key Activities:

• Conduct Market Analysis and Salary Survey Participation and implement market analysis to ensure internal and external equity and market competitiveness
• Roll-out and follow-up of reward programs including the development, implementation, annual review/updating of salary structures, and the annual merit process
