Assists with preparing and serving nutritious, appealing meals and snacks to residents following orders, standards and regulations. Folds, hangs and distributes clean linens and personal clothing. If offered by the location, participates in classroom training and skills lab to learn proper skills and processes to provide cares and assistance to residents. Training includes both demonstration and cognition of duties of a Certified Nursing Aide, within a simulated resident care environment. At completion of the training program, participant will be prepared to sit for the state knowledge and skills exams for purposes of obtaining the Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) designation.
