Fiskars Group Treasury and Risk Management is looking for a
Risk Specialist
OUR ROLE & WHAT YOU’LL DO AT FISKARS
As a Risk Specialist you will support our risk management function in a wide range of different insurance and risk management tasks. You will oversee our global insurance programme, ensuring comprehensive coverage across the Group’s operations. You will also have a possibility to support in the Group’s enterprise risk management process.
You will be working in close co-operation with other finance teams, especially the legal entity controllers, legal community and IT information security team. Your external key stakeholders are insurance broker and insurance companies.
This role will be based at our HQ in Espoo, Finland and report to VP, Treasury and Risk Management.
The role is full-time and we apply hybrid way of working, meaning we want people to be at the office a couple of days per week, regularly.
Responsibilities:
Contacts with insurance companies and brokers
Day-to-day management of global insurance programme and maintaining of an internal insurance network
Assisting and advising the global organization with their insurance related inquiries
Collecting of insurance renewal information
Participating in insurance renewal negotiations
Planning and conducting risk surveys to factories and distribution centers
Claims management
Internal allocation and reinvoicing of insurance premiums
Supporting in the Group’s enterprise risk management process.
WHO YOU ARE
As a person you are flexible and positive with good co-operation skills and can-do attitude. You like working in a changing environment and are able to handle change. You are capable of working independently, but also a team player with excellent networking and communication skills building trust among people across geographies and organizations.
Your background:
Master’s Degree in Finance or equivalent
Minimum 3 years in a role within insurance
Understanding of the structure of a global insurance programme
Experience of working in a global business environment.
To be successful in this role you also need:
Analytical and proactive mindset, proven ability to manage with competing priorities and strong adherence to keeping set timetables
Ability to see the big picture with attention to detail when needed and an organized way of working
Fluent English and Finnish language skills.
