An opportunity exists for a Civil Engineering Technician to be based in Sydney. This full-time position will require you to work closely with site Project Manager assisting with the delivery of a variety of projects. Some travel will apply.
Skills & Requirements
preparing plans and over-looking designs for civil engineering works such as piling and capping beam works including shotcrete and anchor works.
·performing and directing fieldwork activities
interpreting work assignment instructions, applying appropriate procedures and selecting equipment
estimating material costs and ensuring finished works are within specifications, regulations and contract provisions
inspecting civil works, and organizing and supervising maintenance and repair work

Salary:

Opportunity for a highly competent and experienced heavy diesel mechanic with previous experience with mainly CAT and Komatsu excavators. The right candidate must not only possess the correct skills and experience but must be able to work autonomously. You must also have experience working on light and heavy vehicles including semi-trailers. Main Role:
Installation of structural beams, whaler beams and strutting works.

Due to continual growth, we are seeking a reliable, dynamic trades person who is technically minded, and highly experience to join our team. WE require experience in fabrication to a high level of quality and detail, with advance fabrication techniques and experience.

MUST HAVE:

Strong welding skills: TIG, stick, soldering and mig

VOC will be required for manitou/excavator or fork lift.

Able to work and lead successfully a team as required.

Strong, clear, confident and effective communication skills in English.

Able to read and understand CAD plans.
