1. Role Description

The Admin Manager is responsible for overseeing administrative operations crucial to the smooth functioning of construction projects. This includes managing construction site offices and facilitaing communication betwen office and field personnel.

He/she coordinates with project managers and construction teams for the procurement of construction materials, equipment and supplies to ensure timely delivery to project sites while adhering to budgetary constraints.

He/she is also responsible for maintaining project documentation, supporting project managers and construction teams by providing logistical and adminstrative support, contributing to the efficient execution of construction projects within established timelines and budgets.

2. Specific Responsibilities

Individual to be involved in:
1. Coordinating communication between office and project managers/construction staff.
2. Ensuring timely delivery of materials to project sites within budgetary constraints
3. Maintaining project documentation, including contracts, permits and compliance records.
4. Providing logistical and administrative support to project managers and construction teams.
5. Managing subcontractor agreements and coordinating with vendors.
6. Implementing and enforcing administrative policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.

3. Competencies

1. Familiarity with construction management software and tools for document management, scheduling, and project tracking.
2. Strong understanding of construction processes, terminology, and project management principles to effectively support construction operations.

1. Role Description

This position is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects from initiation to completion by monitoring project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, resolving any issues that arise and making timely decisions to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

He/she will coordinate with the company's management team to guide, train and supervise staff to ensure that the team delivers top quality services.

He/she will also play a crucial role in fostering collaborating among team members, motivating personnel and maintaining high standards of craftmanship throughout the construction process to deliver successful outcomes.

2. Specific Responsibilities

Individual to be involved in:

1. Managing project budgets, costs, and financial resources effectively.
2. Developing comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resources.
3. Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
4. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and other regulatory requirements.
5. Overseeing project closeout activities, including final inspections, documentation, and client handover.

• Handle full scope of QS duties which includes material take-off and variations
• Prepare tender BQ including taking off quantities, outsourcing and negotiation with contractors, subcontrctors and materials vendors, preparing and analyzing costing and budget for the projects
• Run cost analysis on the various types of work as a forerunner to tender preparation
• Prepare contracts and documents for submission of tenders/quotations
• Advise project team on the various construction costs involved
• Identify potential risks (financial or construction) surrounding the project and the likelihood of cost variation
• Monitor actual construction against contract work quantity
• Monitor and control costs throughout the project
• Keep track of construction mateials and inventory
• Track any changes to the design or actual work and update budget projections
• Prepare and submission of change proposal to the parties concerned for approval
• Reconcile with the parties concerned on material take off and the change proposals submitted
