How will you contribute...
Purchasing Strategy
- Define and put in place purchasing strategies and rosters
- Bring a merchandising & agency knowledge, Advertising and Promotion (A&P) marketing skills and sensibility to products and projects
- Benchmark the market, attend related industry conferences and trainings
- Design and manage a KPI dashboard to measure and boost the performance
- Develop strong relationship with MH purchasing community and LVMH Purchasing Community
Operational
- Contribute to the set-up and respect of compliance through the full purchasing process
- Launch the RFQs to the suppliers selected from the panel, advocate strategy, analyse and benchmark results and negotiate with the suppliers/agencies in close collaboration with internal clients
- Ensure the management of the schedules and goals with best-in-class project management skills
- Organize working sessions, business reviews, supplier evaluation between the brands and agencies
- Review, and manage the contracts and supplier/agency negotiations and feedback; track key contracts & expiration dates to ensure proactivity
- Focusing on 80% Marketing, 20% Supply Chain, IT and General expenses projects
Vision
- Keep a synthetic vision of the market category and know the main players and industry trends
- Manage the agency & supplier panel by evaluating suppliers and developing relationships
- Manage through challenges such as quality or delay issues, if necessary, with agencies, suppliers and brand contacts
- Meet with key stakeholders regularly to have a clear picture of budgets, key projects, brand objectives, ensuring alignment
- Frequent alignment with senior leadership from different markets on a weekly basis.
- Develop strong relationship with key internal stakeholders and main suppliers
Innovation
- Promote an environment of innovation, respect and collaboration
- Promote new product / process / technical innovation initiatives
- Lead category-related Innovation Day activities
- Participate as required on transversal projects and /or lead it.
Requirements:
· At least 3 years of relevant experience in Purchasing functions with strong focus on Marketing
· Experience working with event agencies and Retail.
· Proven ability to collaborate effectively with Global and International teams.
· Proficiency in SAP knowledge.
· Excellent interpersonal and communical skills, with client oriented approach
· A proactive and autonomous self-starter, capable of taking initiative
· Strong team player with influencing skills
· Experience in Southeast Asia or Regional roles would be an advantage
· Excellent Analytical and effective database management capability
· Leadership, knows how to move lines and embark people
· Strong emphasis on compliance, integrity and social sustainability
· Willingness to travel as needed.
