Designation: Engineer, Sales (Water Technology)
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Water Technical Sales Engineer to join our sales team. The ideal candidate would have a proven track record of technical sales success, a solid understanding of water treatment systems, and excellent communication skills.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within the water treatment industry, and providing technical expertise to clients to ensure their needs are met.
A strong technical background combined with excellent communication and sales skills is essential for success as a Water Technical Sales Engineer.

Job Duties:
• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients in the water treatment industry.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the market.
• Provide technical expertise and support to clients on water treatment systems and solutions, including but not limited to:
Reverse osmosis systems.
Ultrafiltration and microfiltration systems.
Multimedia Treatment modules.
Ion exchange systems.
Chemical treatment systems.
• Conduct technical presentations to clients and internal teams on water treatment systems and solutions.
• Develop and deliver proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients, including technical specifications and drawings.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and project management teams, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Attend industry trade shows and stay up to date on industry trends and developments.
• Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for growth.
• Any other duties and products as and when assigned by immediate superior.
Skills/Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, such as chemical engineering, environmental engineering, or mechanical engineering.
• 3+ years of technical sales experience in the water treatment industry.
• Strong knowledge of water treatment systems and solutions, including:
Understanding of the various types of water treatment systems and their applications.
Familiarity with the latest trends and innovations in the industry.
Knowledge of water quality standards and regulations.
• Experience in designing and specifying water treatment systems, including:
Proficiency in using CAD software to create technical drawings and specifications.
Ability to perform system sizing and hydraulic calculations.
Knowledge of piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel as required.
