Position in the organisation
The Sales Planner has a direct report to the Part Leader of Product Management and an indirect report to the Korean expatriate.
Main goals of the position
The main goal of the Sales Planner(KR) is dual. On one hand to support establishing regional and national targets of air conditioning business, and on the other hand to monitor progress while taking measures to meet the target if there is a deviation between forecast/result and the target.
The Position
· Support development- and subsequently the execution of a solid strategy and vision for the coming years;
· Follow up on the yearly determined figures and targets per country, and monitor the execution status of monthly planned goals;
· Monitor and take measures to fulfill sales per account/project in terms of, but not limited to, credit and inventory availability;
· Analyze sales progress per channel and product group, and advise for measures to minimize deviation from target;
· Focus on close collaboration with the local sales and operations teams;
· Close follow up of the sales actions of the local sales organisations;
· Support enhancing the installers network in the different Asian countries;
· Develop new business ideas and models to support the company’s growth;
· Improve contacts with the internal- and external relevant stakeholders;
· Operational Excellence and KPI management;
· Adopt materials used in other regions and convert them into local usage, including but not limited to materials from the Korean market
The Profile
· A minimum of a master’s degree in Engineering or Business;
· Minimum of 5 years experience in an international sales management role within a technical/mechanical building engineering environment with preferably HVAC knowledge;
· Being able to improve established processes based on requests from the field
· Someone who is used to working within complex matrix and international environments;
· Has a network in the mechanical building branch and their clients in Asia;
· Someone who knows the building/installation/HVAC market, is used to look ahead;
· Who takes responsibility for his/her actions and knows how to enthuse his/her colleagues in the different countries;
· An organized, effective and positive person who has proven experience in working independently and within multicultural teams;
· Excellent communication skills are a necessity for this position. The position is a supporting role and communication must be effective towards the teams in the different countries and also towards the international HQ in Korea;
· As a person he/she must be empathetic, persuasive, a real go-getter, confident, creative and a strong representative of the sales team within the internal organization and also towards the external contact persons;
· An excellent knowledge (speaking and writing) of the English and Korean language is mandatory and preferably any additional Asian language;
· Frequently travelling within Southeast Asia & Oceania (30%).
