1. Full Set Accounts Management:
Manage a complete set of accounts, including fixed asset management.
Process invoices for both payables and receivables.
Prepare and maintain inventory reports.
2. Day-to-Day Accounting:
Manage daily accounting tasks.
Ensure all transactions are recorded promptly and accurately.
3. Monthly Closing Activities:
Handle monthly account closing procedures.
Update, verify, and maintain accounting journals and ledgers.
4. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare weekly, monthly, and yearly financial and management reports.
Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Provide and interpret monthly financial information and operating reports for Management.
Support the preparation of management reports, budgets, and forecasts.
5. Month-End Reconciliation:
Reconcile bank statements regularly.
Analyse general ledger accounts and expenses.
6. Inventory Management Support:
Conduct monthly stock takes.
Monitor inventory movement and carrying costs.
7. Year-End Audit:
Participate in the year-end audit process.
Prepare tax computations.
8. Government-Related Administrative Works:
Handle customs, LMW, SST, MITI, MIDA, and other statutory requirements.
Prepare and submit SST returns in a timely manner.
Ensure familiarity with SST compliance requirements.
9. Liaison with Stakeholders:
Collaborate with internal and external parties on various accounting and secretarial activities.
10. Ad-Hoc Tasks:
Assist with any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the superior or management.
