Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible to monitor site operational and supervisory work at the site, liaise closely with clients, sub-contractors.
• Responsible for site activities, progress, quality, and safety.
• Work closely with consultants, sub-contractors, suppliers and related departments to solve site problems.
• Ensure the quality of work is carried out in accordance with the drawings, specifications, construction plans, procedures, work instructions and etc.
• Ensure activities are carried out in compliance with safety requirements and regulations.

Job Requirements:

# We are looking for Mandarin-speaking candidates for dealing with Customer from China.

Job Description:

• Plan, implement, and manage the health and safety system to ensure compliance with statutory and company regulations and procedures.
• Work closely with all department heads to provide input related to safety, health, and environmental matters.
• Conduct safety briefing/training for all new employees, contractors, vendors & etc.
• Liaise with relevant government authorities and resolve the safety issues arising from the site.
• Conduct periodic safety meetings and audits to ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
• To assist during audits, and inspections and maintain all documentation and records.
• To identify potential risks on the construction site and constantly track the safety & health performance under OSHA regulations.
• Enforce Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) implementation at work site.
  To conduct toolbox meetings.

Job Requirements:

• Must possess at least a Professional Certificate or Diploma / Bachelor Degree (Environmental/ Health/ Safety) or equivalent discipline.
• Yellow book or Green Book holder.
• At least 3 years of working experience in safety related activities in construction industry.
• Knowledge in ISO requirements.
• Able to speak with Chinese language for dealing with China Market.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Your new company
A nationally established construction company that specialise in construction and facilities management.

Your new roleThis client is looking for an experienced Commercial Assistant in Construction to be based in Lincoln on a temporary project for a minimum of 2 months.

Duties include:

1. Construction compliance knowledge and understanding.
2. Completing the monthly head count.
3. Managing access control of new contractors on the site access system.
4. Maintain site safety files on site.
5. Scanning / photocopying of documents and uploading to the site filing system.
6. Raising requisitions to the procurement team for materials as directed by site management.

What you'll need to succeedPrevious industry experience in either Housing, Construction or Facilities Management, you will not be considered if you have not worked previously in the sectors listed.
