We invite applications for a teaching track position at lecturer or senior lecturer level at the Science, Mathematics and Technology (SMT) Cluster. Duties include teaching of undergraduate and continuous education courses, advising undergraduate student projects, conducting pedagogical research, creating innovative curriculum, student outreach, and service to SUTD and the community. We are particularly interested in individuals with a strong and genuine interest in promoting STEM education at levels.
The minimal qualifications for the faculty position include:
- An earned doctorate in Applied Mathematics, Physics, Bioinformatics or related engineering fields,
- A strong passion and high competence in teaching applied mathematics, physics, modeling/simulation and related courses at the undergraduate levels,
- Excellent communication skills,
- Prior teaching experience, including experience in technology-enabled learning, is preferred,
- Prior experience in pedagogy research is preferred,
- A demonstrated record of, or potential, for teaching to industry partners, and
- A demonstrated record of, or potential, for scholarly research.
