OVERALL JOB SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Role & Responsibilities
The successful applicant will support the CEO in planning and execution of marketing campaigns, and business development activities. The applicant will also work in close collaboration with Marketing in development & implementation of online marketing programs, including but not limited to website curation, social media presence, SEO, content/blogs creation and related programmes.
This position requires a deep passion in creating market impact with the science & technology Kosmode developed. The ideal candidate should therefore have a science foundation with a creative flair to create layman friendly content and blogs; and develops online and offline marketing campaigns and activities.
Specific tasks include:
- Develop marketing decks, videos and marketing collaterals for corporate & product branding and awareness
- Craft, implement online & offline marketing campaigns to drive market share and the sale of W0W® noodles
- Organize both online and offline marketing events
- Monitor and track progress of events/campaigns using various metrics and report event ROI based on key objectives and metrics.
- Conduct Market and competitors’ intelligence research
- Support development of branding & marcom strategies
- Manage and update corporate & W0W®noodle websites
- Prepare/edit video for social media post
- Design and develop corporate and product collateral that is consistent with corporate and brand positioning
- Design product packaging
- Generate & develop leads for Business Development
- Acquire, keep, grow subscribers and customer base through good subscribers/customers management, engagement and communication.
- Participate in business development activities & customer relations management
- Perform other duties and assist with special projects as assigned.
DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
Academic Qualifications & Experience
- Preferably, 3rd or Final year undergraduate in Business Administration/ marketing, or equivalent, Mass Communication, New Media or a Final year diploma student in Business Administration/ marketing, or equivalent, Mass Communication, New Media
- Able to commit to a 6 months internship (part-time can be considered)
- “A” level/diploma-level passes in biology and chemistry is a strong advantage
Skills and Experience
- Social Media Marketing skills (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram) and up-to-date with trends in social media use.
- Strong research and writing skills; Experience creating social media contents and writing of blogs, from research articles and publications.
- Ability to create engaging, impactful marketing collaterals and social media posts.
- Excellent communicator, skilled in written and verbal communication.
- Experience planning and execution of marketing events and marketing campaigns
- Experience in basic data analytics.
- Graphic design, photography, programming skills and video editing/creation are strong advantages.
- Self-driven resourceful individual with demonstrated ability to work within resource constraints.
