B.I.C. SERVICES PTY LIMITED is a Professional Commercial and Industrial cleaning company and a leading provider of commercial and Industrial cleaning services in today’s marketplace. As a Business Service Manager, you will drive operational excellence, Stakeholder and Customer Engagement, foster a supportive work environment through leadership and development, and ensure strict adherence to safety and compliance standards.
Operational Excellence:
• Responsible for the management and operation of the site/sites, including ensuring the performance of contracts, meeting all relevant contract and Company KPI’s, handling of complaints and dealing with employment related matters.
• Control attendance of employees at the various commercial and industrial worksites and make the necessary arrangements to cover the job when, for any reason, a staff fails to show up for work.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety, adhering to security, health, and safety regulations.
• Monitor and report on performance of contracted services such as waste removal and window cleaning and ensure they are complying with the Company’s Operating Systems.
• Take full ownership of managing and resolving all cleaning feedback and complaints of commercial and industrial clients.
• Implement strategic planning and best practice initiatives to remain at the forefront of cleaning operations.
Stakeholder and Customer Engagement:
• Work closely with stakeholders and departments to promote teamwork and add value.
• Be the first point of contact for Clients and liaise with Clients to build, maintain and enhance strong long-term relationships.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, employees, suppliers, and local authorities.
Team Leadership and Development:
• Lead the Cleaning / Presentation team, creating a positive and motivational working environment.
• Develop and implement advanced planning for all cleaning operations, including periodic tasks, with clear schedules and sign-offs.
• Provide the necessary training and support for new and existing employees and supervisors, with focus on maintaining the Company's strategic goals.
• Focus on training and development to establish good working practices and enhance customer experience interactions
Compliance and Safety:
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure strict adherence to compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
Financial and Budget Management:
• Manage and report on cleaning operational budgets with transparency, including forecasting and tracking expenditures.
• Oversee payroll, rosters, and manning levels, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Position Requirements of Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business management or relevant discipline.
• Proven experience in operations management within a cleaning services environment, with a strong track record of achieving results and optimizing processes.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with a passion for mentoring and developing teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strategic thinker with exceptional time management and prioritization abilities.
Key Requirements:
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in a cleaning services environment.
• Proven ability to manage growth within a contract environment and adapt to dynamic conditions.
• Strong business and financial management skills, with a creative approach to problem-solving.
• Willingness to be flexible with your schedule and a positive "can do" attitude.
• Experience working with people from diverse National, Cultural and Linguistic backgrounds.
Annual Salary: $80000 + Superannuation
