Job Descriptions:
Accountable to all plant KPI deliverable related matters in the plant operations under your jurisdiction. Manage, plan and able to communicate overall plant operations to the Management and subordinates to ensure productivity, product quality, on time delivery, cost management and manpower efficiency of production and overall productions related matter.
- Plan, manage and control overall productions activities to achieve daily production output.
- Take overall charge of all production’s personnel. To liaise closely with Factory Manager and all section HOD/managers on the monthly production planning and to ensure schedule of each order delivery is met.
- Manage and control overall rejection to achieve zero rejection rate. To ensure high productivity and minimum wastage. Minimize wastage of source raw material, natural resources, finish goods rejection.
- To plan and implement preventive maintenance for all dipping lines. Responsible for productions, former and plant maintenance. Manage, communicate and monitor the preventive maintenance schedule to ensure minimum unscheduled downtime, build good repo and collaborate with PEM to understand and ensure the machine and equipment are in good conditions.
- To provide productions reports to FM timely to ensure all productions KPI are delivered. To ensure output and quality of finished goods shall meet the required standards.
- Ensure all factories consumable are available at all times, to reduce downtime and maximize production time by coordinating with all departments. Plan chemical consumption and production schedule.
- Control discipline and headcount of departments.
- Plan, manage and communicate between shifts. Organize and re-deploy workers in times of emergency stoppage.
- Planning shift, manpower allocation and assessment of worker capability
- Provide proactive input of improvisation to the productions process flow in manpower management, utilities management and/or all related to productions.
- To ensure all the workers follow the safety rules and regulations in daily operations.
- Responsible to upkeep the cleanliness of plant and factory by organizing regular spot checks and organize cleaning workers. Take priority on emphasizing safety related matters in work place to inspire safety working environment.
- To identify the staff knowledge and skills gap. Provide input and suggestions to FM and GM the training requirement for all the production workers. Train/ re-train them in their respective job functions as of whenever needed or in the yearly assessment event.
Job Requirements:
Qualification:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing / Chemical/Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience:
- Min 6-8 years’ hand-on working experience in related field and minimum 3 years at managerial level.
- Experience in manufacturing field with ISO compliance and regulatory environment.
Other Personal Capabilities:
- Strong leadership skills, result orientated, good problem solving and reporting skills, analytical skills, critical thinking skills and good communication skills.
