Job Description:
• Setting up, configuring, operating, and maintaining various electronic equipment involved in outside broadcasting production, such as HD Video, UHD Video, Audio, and Communication Equipment.
• Troubleshooting camera equipment and effectively communicating and reporting any issues to the studio manager and manufacturer for problem-solving.
• Keeping equipment updated with the latest software releases to ensure optimal performance.
• Ensuring that technical equipment and systems meet safety and technical standards with minimal disruption to operations.
• Proficiency in reading and designing camera connection workflows.
• Maintaining and routing video signals, including split camera signals, genlock, and data cables.
• Familiarity with video standards, calibration, and routing signals such as HD-SDI, DisplayPort, HDMI, RAW files, color metadata, and data wrangling.
• Care and upkeep of Virtual Production systems, including cameras, tracking objects, cabling, and AV signal flow.
• Assisting camera crew with calibration workflows and mounting Virtual Production tracking hardware on set.
• Troubleshooting video feed, tracking, and calibration issues with the Virtual Production team.
• Communicating changeover status and camera changes to the Virtual Production team for smooth operation.
• Continuously learning and adapting to new technologies in the industry to maintain a cutting-edge skillset.
• Proficiency in video editing.
