Overall Job Purpose
Responsible for the mechanical maintenance of all equipment and systems of the FPSO under the direction of the Mechanical Supervisor, ensuring that maintenance activities are performed correctly, timely and in an efficient manner.
Core Responsibilities
Assist and carry out maintenance activities so as to ensure the safe and efficient functioning of all plant and all machinery on facility under Lead Mechanic guidance, ensuring that all procedure and guidance are following up all the time.
Contribute with performing any additional task compatible with the professional training requested by RPE or Maintenance Superintendent.
Contribute with the perfect functioning of the equipment reporting deficiencies and malfunctioning, discussing and analyzing technical and spares issues with the Lead Mechanic as well as proposing solutions for the weak points using the technical knowledge and experience.
Assure that proper information is filled up into the SAP for the tasks performed. Close follow up the plan execution with Maintenance Supervisor.
Ensure compliance with MODEC Permit to Work system, isolation standard being aware about latest revision of PTW and act as Permit user of PTW for the task performed by Mechanical team.
Ensure that high standard of housekeeping is present in the Mechanical Workshop and as well on the worksite, or other location under Lead Mechanic area responsibility.
Develop a close working relationship with all Department and other disciplines.
Contribute in emergency situations, according to Emergency response plan.
Assist to Maintenance Supervisor to review the Maintenance plan providing inputs for the plan base of technical knowledge and experience.
Ensure that execution of lubrication task performed by 3rd Party is performed properly, reporting any deficiency to Maintenance Supervisor.
Ensure that the tools used are in good condition, inform Maintenance Supervisor when any deviation noticed.
Demonstrate ownership of own training requirements and proactively arrange training to be done/renewed in time as per MODEC Integrated Management System.

Educational Qualification:
High School Degree - Mandatory.
Technical School Degree – Expected.
Certifications:
Technical certificates.
Relevant Experience:
Previous experience leading teams in equivalent position in FPSOs
