C&W Services, a global leader in Integrated Maintenance Solutions and a sister company of Cushman & Wakefield, is seeking an experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager for our distribution and fulfillment centers. Join our team to lead maintenance efforts on electrical and mechanical equipment, focusing on conveying and sorting systems in the rapidly expanding logistics and fulfillment industry.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Manage the C&W Services maintenance team at the distribution center.
Allocate job plans, leveraging experience and judgment to achieve departmental goals.
Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to team members, maintaining high standards.
Operations:
Formulate standards and work procedures, providing feedback on work order discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with company and customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
Oversee applicable codes, standards, and specifications for equipment and processes.
Develop and implement QA/QC inspection protocol for work personnel and tasks.
Communication:
Act as a liaison between the maintenance team, Account Manager, Planners, Customers, and Department.
Foster positive customer and employee relations.
Communicate with team members to support the development of short and long-range goals.
Performance and Compliance:
Ensure Maintenance department objectives and key metrics are met.
Achieve performance expectations set forth in performance appraisals.
Demonstrate leadership and sound judgment in decision-making.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, Management, or a related field AND transferrable management experience (3 years minimum).
Reporting Key Performance Metrics (KPI) for a team of 10-15 associates.
Working knowledge of repairs and preventive/predictive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
Proficiency in the use of basic/power tools, shop math, pneumatics, power transmissions, parts nomenclature, measurements, and fasteners.
Ability to operate and knowledge of simple and complex heavy industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts, scissors lifts, and boom lifts).
Flexibility to work all shifts, including holidays and weekends, as demanded by the job. All AMMs will work 4x12s. Shifts available include FHD, FHN, BHD, and BHN. Front Half is Sun-Wed and Back Half is Wed-Sat. AMMs should open to any of the shifts.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
