Salary: Circa £30,000 - £35,000 (Training & Progression Available)
The Company:
Due to growth, this prestigious family run manufacturing company is now seeking a skilled production operator to join their team on a permanent full time basis. Over the next few months alone, they are planning to input millions of pounds worth of investment into manufacturing equipment on site in order to automate the bulk of the production process. They will also be expanding their products and introducing new production lines to improve efficiency and the overall profitability of the company.
The Role:
You will be working within a small close knit team taking responsibility for the smooth running of production and ensuring products are manufactured to the highest standard. This will include operating and maintaining both the manual and automated machinery onsite. You will also be in charge of quality checks, in process controls and inspections, resetting and alterations, interpreting engineer drawings and general machinery cleaning and maintenance.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in tooling / industrial manufacturing environments e.g. molding, CNC machinery or plastic manufacturing would be an advantage.
- Able to provide evidence of showing initiative / showing preventative maintenance.
- Previous experience operating/running production/process machinery
- Health and safety knowledge
- Previous experience as a machinist / setter or maintenance technician (desirable)
