We are looking for Group Operations Manager for our group of restaurants.
Job Responsibilities:
Achieving Sales Targets
• Ensure that revenue targets are planned and achieved at all times
• Motivating outlets/ staff to exceed targets
• Ensure sales is maximised at all times with great customer service
• Cost management and control to be within the company guidelines as a percentage of sales
revenue
Human Resource
• Support in local recruitment and selection for efficient restaurant human resources. This should
include but not be limited to: Staff recruitment and selection, training, performance management &
disciplinary/dismissal issues as required.
• Maintain cohesiveness of the team to maximise positive teamwork efforts
Operational responsibilities
• SOP development for service & review (opening, closing etc.)
• Timely management updates – Monthly performance, sales & trend analysis, and
recommendations
• Resource management & maximisation - staff costs reduction and maintain
within targets
• Set up audit controls – inventory and restaurant security
• Ensure that proper security procedures are in place to protect employees, customers and
company assets
Service Operations
• Improve average Yield per Customer
• Responsible for ensuring consistent high quality of service
• Co-ordinate Training programme - service quality, menu
• Staff briefings – daily and & monthly (with management team)
Property & Equipment Management
• General maintenance – to ensure that properties are managed properly and always in good
condition
• Equipment maintenance - ensure equipment is adequate for operational needs, is in good
working order and fit for its purpose.
Customer service
• Ensure consistently high quality of customer service in all areas
• Respond to complaints, taking appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests
• Investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service
Basic Marketing
• Activate social media platforms
• Respond in a timely manner (daily checks) on emails and social media platforms
• Ensure websites are updated at all times
• Regular messaging and posting on social media platforms
Events & Promotions
• Engage in local branch promotional activities with customers and media as required
• Assist, advise and manage event operations as and when required
