- Inspecting Materials: Perform thorough inspections of incoming raw materials, such as wood, hardware, and finishing materials, to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Quality Checks: Conduct visual inspections and measurements on finished carpentry products, including furniture, cabinets, doors, and other woodwork, to verify conformance with quality standards and customer requirements.
- Testing: Assist in conducting tests and evaluations on carpentry products, including strength tests, durability tests, and other quality control procedures to identify any defects or deficiencies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspection results, test data, and quality control documentation. Prepare reports summarizing findings and recommendations for improvement.
- Problem Identification: Identify and report any quality issues, defects, or non-conformities to supervisors or management promptly. Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality concerns.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment and tools regularly to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Requirements
· Min ‘O’ Levels with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience in related field.
