We're looking for a Senior QA Tester to join our DWP Digital community to test and assure innovations to applications and services that allow millions of users to access essential benefits.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need to show us in your application? 
- Providing testing leadership and guidance determine the most appropriate strategies to deliver quality solutions in a SaaS environment*
- Effectively managing your own workload proactively and supporting others, leading delivery of testing to high quality and value
- Developing and maintain reusable test collateral such as test cases and data etc
- Acting as an escalation point for defects or issues preventing delivery of Testing activities and facilitating their resolution
- Driving collaboration by aligning teams and activities and highlighting the key dependencies, impacts, risks and priorities around user experience or technical needs
- Leading reviews of test practices and provide guidance on improvements and lessons learned to your team and community.
You and your role 
You will be part of our Tech Services Communication and Collaboration Team on items such as Sensitivity Labels and Cross-Government Collaboration projects that DWP is leading on.
You'll give technical and strategic leadership to multiple Testers across our product teams.
That means overseeing the products they deliver, support and test, and includes environment maintenance, upgrades, and availability, tooling support and defect triage.
Our QA Testers are at the centre of innovation at DWP. When we try something new, you and your team tell us if it works, spot defects and resolve issues. You'll make sure our products work for millions of people who need them.

Location: You'll join us in your choice of one our brilliant digital hubs in Leeds, Manchester or Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

Pay: In return for your skills, we offer competitive pay of up to £43,347 p.a.
