Brown & Brown is seeking an Employee Benefits Sales Executive to join our Las Vegas team!

The primary responsibilities of this role are to sell and renew insurance to businesses in this community and region. Our team environment will provide you with a wealth of resources to help you reach your full potential. New sales are the focus of the position and cross sales of existing clients is also encouraged. As a full-service agency, we can bring Personal Insurance, Commercial Insurance and Employee Benefits products to our customers. You will report directly to our Executive Vice President.
Must have successful B2B sales experience!
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
You will sell group health insurance products including Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Critical Illness, Life, Long Term Care, etc. Additional responsibilities include:
Pursue new prospect appointments through different outreach strategies.
Renew existing clients annually.
Establish relationships with clients and create referral networks.
Participate in professional development activities.
Manage onsite enrollment meetings with customer’s employees.
Cross sell clients with other insurance divisions within the agency
Coordinate with account management and support teams
Maintain trust and working relationships with multiple insurance carrier partners.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Bachelor’s Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
3+ years’ B2B sales experience, preference to those with experience in insurance sales.
Preference to those with 5+ years of experience working in the group benefits marketplace.
Those with PEO, HRIS, Payroll, Employee Benefits, or Enterprise sales experience have been successful in this position.
Active Life and Health license, or willingness to obtain within sixty days.
Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
