Objective of the position

Will be responsible for transport operations for Australia and New Zealand. Will also take ownership of all transport management processes for the company's operation.

Main Task

• Manage transport operation (inbound, outbound) for bulk and packaged with different modes of transportation.
• Evaluate, monitor and improve the performance of 3rd party service providers, handle non-conformance service issues; participate and support 3rd party service provider selection.
• Optimize transportation processes based on market surveys and business feedback to meet customer and company requirements.
• Coordination and management of service provider for vehicle placement.
• Tracking delivery of products to customer (monitoring of transit vehicles, shipments)
• Ensure transportation safely.
• Evaluate service provider performance on monthly basis in line with company's standards.
• Coordination and management of order management.
• Ensuring timely delivery of goods to customer.
• Coordination with environment, Health Safety, insurance and service provider in a case of accidents.
• Ensuring utilization of dedicated vehicles.
• Insurance management (raising insurance claim and recovery) incl. management of recovery from service provider.

Minimum Education and Qualification:

• Graduate, Post Graduate Diploma or Supply Chain is preferred
• 2 - 6 years experience in supply chain

Technical & Professional Knowledge:

• Hands on experience in SAP (Order To Cash/ Transport Management) processes would be advantage
• Experience in Chemical industry is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of transportation market working of 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) service providers etc. required.
• Good understanding of the products/services of relevant business segments and functions at sub-regional level

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness in business reporting services.
• Manage master data for material ledger, inventory valuation, production planning, and cost accounting.

Main Tasks: 

• To deliver Business reporting services, by ensuring delivery quality in terms of accuracy, completeness and timeliness:

• To perform analysis with comment on cost variations, non-distributed price differences for all material included in material ledger timely and accurately. 
• To perform analysis with comment for Plan & Actual comparison for Fixed and Variable manufacturing cost and capacity utilization.
• To perform business analysis and provide advice to customer and controlling units on all matters regarding material ledger, inventory valuation, production planning budget, intra-company transfer pricing, cost center accounting. 
• To trouble shoot and resolve issues related to Business reporting process by working with relevant stakeholders on the queries and issues. 
• To act as business partner for Company's internal customer to suggest and discuss workable solution with customers.

Requirements: 

• University degree in finance and accounting or business studies
• Chartered or Certified Professional Accountant or equivalent. 
• Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in finance and accounting functions preferably in Business Reporting. Competent candidates with lesser years of experiences are considerable. 
• Experience working in a MNC, shared service center or Malaysian Public listed company will be an advantage.
• Knowledge and understanding of Business Reporting and other accounting functions. 
• Knowledge and understanding of SAP S4 Hana is a MUST.
