The Business Control & Support function is a unit within Group Product Control (Group Finance) that is responsible for providing end-to-end (E2E) business support to Treasury & Markets (T&M) business across the region within the Bank.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate overall financial performance review, explaining drivers and working with functional teams in providing commentaries on key financials on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Review new hedge accounting applications for products/business initiatives under Corporate Treasury and perform regular financial analysis on existing hedge structures.
• Deliver Management report for key strategies under Corporate Treasury which covers both Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet movements on a weekly basis.
• Conduct regular reviews of portfolios across locations to ensure consistency in portfolio usage and naming convention and appropriateness of transactions booked into the portfolios vis-à-vis portfolio intent and allowed product offering per mandate for Corporate Treasury business.
• Provide ongoing business support for new products/business initiatives, working closely with other teams (consist of representatives from cross departments such as GFM, Risk Management Group, Technology, Group Finance) in business case review, functionality assessment and requirement formulation.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Accountancy or Business or Finance is preferred.
• 8 - 10 years relevant work experience in product control, accounting or audit function in financial institutions
• Understand treasury products and possess working knowledge of accounting treatment for treasury products.
• Knowledge of Corporate Treasury function and hedge accounting application will be advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analytics tool
• Strong team player, with good control awareness and inquisitive mindset

Role Summary

To manage the Private Banking Equity product advisory platform and both product P/L through product development and strategy on the larger Equity business. The role also encompass advisory to Client Advisors with executable product ideas to drive revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Product advisory

• Package route to market executable ideas with inputs from research, industry intelligence and ground feedback and current portfolios
• Drive Investment themes and product focus, giving colour and depth to the investment portfolios. Provide the front office staff with actionable focus to manoeuvre the markets, with supporting research data.
• Provide solutions for clients’ Equity requests
• Educate Client Advisors and team members on Equities products
• Subject Matter Expert in Equities products

Product Platform

• Set up access to full range of Equity sub-classes
• Manage relationships with major counterparties and key market players
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and company’s product development and management policies
• Ensure end to end platform readiness and robustness for product sale.
• Manage internal relationships with key enablement partners and stakeholders
• Ensure all products are reflected correctly in the banks’ portfolios
• Support development of MIS and post transaction reporting to ensure regulatory compliance and support investment and product performance monitoring
• Work with team members & stakeholders to ensure adequate coverage at all times

Sales

• Provide Investment Advisors and Client Advisors with trading ideas, market information and sales tools
• Provide input on Equity for internal and external publications
• Develop marketing materials
• Making timely actionable calls in relation to markets and books, to help front office manage clients.

Responsibilites:

Production Support Engineer is to coordinate support service for cross-functional regional Wholesale Banking applications.

• Work closely with other support teams and development teams to the incidents, problem and users queries are resolved within SLA Responsible for availability, incident, problem and capacity management for the applications in scope
• Drive technical remediation in line with agreed non-functional requirements
• Ensures essential process / procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards.
• Communicate complex technical issues to business users in a language they understand.

Requirement:

• Diploma / Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in Banking production support.
• Experience with Java, Unix/Linux, MQ, WebLogic, Oracle, UNIX Shell scripting, SQL
• Experience in Internet banking applications and mobile banking applications.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in L2 / L3 support in a Production Support is mandatory
• Experience in Batch Schedulers Control M, Autosys, Cron and scripting Unix Shell or Python
• Monitoring tools like ITRS-Geneos, BMC Patrol & Splunk
• Strong understanding of ITIL methodology.
