Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Ensure all supply chain activities are conducted efficiently, maintaining the right price, quality, and service levels to meet user expectations.
- Issue Purchase Orders for both inventory and non-inventory items.
- Place orders based on market needs.
- Follow up on all deliveries and manage supplier performance to ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery.
- Source new perishable and non-perishable products.
- Monitor warehouse inventory and assist with replenishment and ordering.
- Support café ordering processes.
- Source suppliers and negotiate quotations for Purchase Requests from all departments.
- Manage administrative tasks within the purchasing system, including maintaining the SCM purchasing modules and filing/documentation according to CBTL’s Records Retention Policy.
- Continuously seek improvements in supply chain processes.
- Participate in regular training and development activities to enhance skills.
Requirement
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement Management, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience dealing with customs and government authorities (optional).
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with internal and external parties.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Good problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer literate.
