Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker / Wood Machinist who has previous joinery / cabinet making / assembly and wood machining experience is required for a well-established commercial building, refurbishment and shopfitting company based in Cowbridge, Wales.
SALARY: £35,000 per annum + Overtime + Onsite Parking
LOCATION: Cowbridge, Wales (You MUST live within a commutable distance or plan to relocate before starting the job)
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, 9 Hour Shifts between 7:30am – 5pm. Overtime available in the evenings and weekends

Working as a Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker / Wood Machinist you will be based in Cowbridge, and join a company that’s been established since 1954 that specialises in the commercial building and refurbishment across:

DUTIES
Your duties as a Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker / Wood Machinist include:
• Manufacture bespoke wooden components such as bars, back fixtures, screens, hotel reception counters, doors, windows, frames, cabinets and staircases
• Work with precision tools to cut, shape, and assemble wooden items according to technical drawings and specifications
• Ensure high standards of craftsmanship
• Collaborate with the design team to troubleshoot and adapt designs where necessary
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are used safely and correctly
• Deliver work to meet project deadlines while maintaining the highest levels of quality
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Excellent communication skills
• Traditional joinery experience
• Able to read and understand technical drawings
• Willing to work weekends where required
• Be reliable and punctual
• Have a great eye for detail
• Able to work on your own or as a team
• Able to work at high manufacturing pace to meet tight deadlines
