• Design mechanical systems and selection of mechanism i.e. motors, actuators, drives etc
• Execute design verification and validation testing to ensure compliance with specifications and requirements, safety regulations
• Perform continuous improvement on design of legacy machines
• Application of analysis tools i.e. Fish Bone Diagram, FMEA etc.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
• 5 years of experience in semiconductor equipment design
• Knowledgeable and experience in:

1. Design of automation or semiconductor equipment
2. High precision machine design
3. Design of High Speed Pick and Place mechanisms
   

• Proficient with 3D CAD software and produce detailed drawings with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing considerations
• Troubleshooting skills in equipment

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, review and enhance appropriate Pricing Model and establish Market Price.
• Underwrite and maintain a profitable book of Marine Cargo business.
• Ensure Technical Portfolio Management and conduct remediation for underperforming portfolios.
• Assist the Head to compile, analyze and prepare monthly reports required and present during monthly meetings and business reviews.
• Assist the Head to develop, maintain, review and enhance Underwriting Manual and Policy Wording.
• Assist the Head to ensure that the team determines an acceptable pricing and terms, within their underwriting authority and underwriting guidelines, on new business and renewals.
• Ensure acceptable loss ratio through coordinating account stewardship process, loss control activities, tracking and following up on large claims and related activity as required.
