SUMMARY:
With strong understanding of the business, work closely with the business leaders to formulate and develop HR strategies, employee communication and implementation of HR programs/initiatives within the company’s code of conduct and organizational direction. This position will overseas talent management and development to support organizational development needs and provide HR expertise to the business strategy and consulting on a variety of HR functional issues.
Major Responsibilities:
· Serve as the primary strategic partner to the business (pharma commercial and supporting/blended functions such as Finance, Legal, OEC, Medical, RA), developing HR strategies, needs assessments and resulting HR solutions.
· Provide quality consultation and solution to people leaders and employees regarding HR policies, programs, other employee relations areas and local law
· Responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of all HR programs and services. Responsible for HR results in the business, HR effectiveness and associated financial results.
· Establishes, builds and maintains strong relationships with key HR partners from all COEs to ensure elements of HR are successfully coordinated to meet business needs
· Be the ambassador of the HR organization to represent the services and resources available to the business and help manage the collective reputation of the HR organization as a whole.
· Guide the leaders to shape the talent agenda and make associated talent decisions that align with the business strategy.
· Lead process implementation for Performance Management and Talent Reviews; Drive better process and talent outcomes by providing insights that lead to solutions and actions to build capability of talent.
· Execute talent strategies for critical capabilities, measurably strengthening the talent bench.
· Ensures compliance with all relevant company policy, local affiliate laws, regulations, policies and practices
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & ABILITIES:
· Bachelor’s degree is required. Post graduate qualification in Human Resources and related fields is a plus
· At least 8 years’ experience as HR Professional/Business partner role with proven experience
· Proven track record of responsibility and delivery of excellent HR business partnering
· Excellent communication skills that support building strong partnerships, appropriate influence, and portraying an objective and defensible position on situations.
· Exercise strong business judgment that is aligned with broad organizational philosophies and practices and is compliant with regulations. Makes effective decisions in ambiguous situations.
· Demonstrated understanding of functional HR roles and responsibilities and impact on the business.
· Understanding of key business and financial drivers and demonstrated strong delivery of HR results.
· Substantial HR project management, organization effectiveness/development, talent management and development experience required
· Good knowledge of labor laws, local regulation, procedures/process management and office management
