Strategic planning and vision

The Head of Technology & Innovation must have a clear vision for the role of AR, MR and VR within the company. He/She plays a vital role in driving business growth and expansion by identifying opportunities, developing strategies, building relationships, and generating revenue. They are responsible for fostering the company's success and ensuring its long-term competitiveness in the market.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Mixed Reality (MR), and Extended Reality (XR) technologies, coupled with extensive experience in setting up and managing large-scale XR labs across various industries. A strong government connection and a proven track record in AI and data security are essential qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

· Business Development

We’re currently searching for an experienced manager who drive measurable results that benefit our business. Our ideal candidate will be able to implement an effective sales approach that expands our reach, strengthens client relationships, while actively seeking out other business opportunities that can boost revenue and set our company apart.

· Product development and management

The central focus is the management of product development, from concept to market launch. This requires a deep understanding of the technical aspects of XR and the respective platforms, as well as a feeling for user needs and behavior. The Head of Technology & Innovation must ensure that the products developed are not only technically innovative, but also user-friendly and market relevant.

· Team leadership and interdisciplinary collaboration

As a leader, it is crucial to effectively lead a multidisciplinary team and ensure that everyone involved is working towards a common goal. The area of

responsibility includes managing the technology partners, project teams, setting clear goals and milestones and ensuring a productive and creative working atmosphere.

· Project Management

Strong project management skills to oversee multiple training initiatives simultaneously. Ability to coordinate resources, timelines, and stakeholders efficiently.

· Market observation and innovation

An important aspect of the role is to constantly monitor the market to identify new developments and potential areas of application for XR at an early stage. This also includes identifying and entering partnerships that can contribute to technological development and market growth.

· Budgeting and resource management

Managing the budget for XR projects requires careful planning and allocation of resources. The Head of Technology & Innovation must be able to calculate the return on investment (ROI) of XR projects and justify investments.

· Technology Integration

Leverage modern learning technologies and platforms to enhance the accessibility and effectiveness of training programs.

· User experience and community engagements

Creating positive and engaging user experiences is central to the success of XR applications. Additionally, building a community around a product or service can be an important factor in customer loyalty and feedback.

The work of a Head of Technology & Innovation is dynamic and requires constant learning and adapting to new technologies and market developments. It is a role that requires not only technical expertise, but also creativity, visionary thinking and strong leadership skills. The Head of Technology & Innovation must be able to bridge the gap between technology and users to create truly transformative experiences that fully leverage the potential of AR, MR and VR.

Minimum Qualifications

· XR Expertise: Proven track record in developing and managing XR technologies, with a deep understanding of AR, VR, MR, and XR ecosystems.

· Industry Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in the technology sector, with a strong focus on XR and related fields.

· Leadership: 5+ years of experience in C-level management roles, demonstrating exceptional leadership and strategic thinking skills.

· Government Relations: Established connections with government agencies and a proven ability to navigate regulatory landscapes.

· AI and Data Security: Expertise in AI applications and data security best practices, particularly in the context of large-scale projects.

· Education: Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, engineering, business administration).

Preferred Qualifications

Over 15 years of combined experience in technology and management roles.
Experience in setting up and managing large-scale XR labs in multiple industries.
Experience in enterprise software / SaaS preferred
International experience and/or multicultural skills would be a plus
Experience working on government-funded projects.

Role and Responsibilities:

· Render Engineering support for design, installation and maintenance of electronic security systems (CCTV, Card Access, RFID, Key Management Network Cable Management, Fiber Cable patch, Fiber Cable testing, Fiber Cross connect and Cable Management)

· Possess experience to provision, deploy, configure, and administer different pieces of network and security-related hardware and software. The aforementioned may include firewalls, routers, switches and other networking solutions.

· Coordinate and review all project documentations which include delivery notes, maintenance and operation manual requirements, cabling, testing and commissioning procedures and inspections.

· Strong customer orientation with soft skill to manage and maintain strong relationships with client, consultant, partner, and vendors.

· Possess skillsets to maintain upgrades, installations, and planning alongside exploration of new features and innovative solutions

· Possess the ability to evaluate, test, and troubleshoot technologies when new technologies are onboard by the company

· Setup and Configuring the AD, SQL, Windows Server, Switches, Storage and VMS/Card Access/Key management Software Application.

· Configuring RAID System and Troubleshooting windows, VMS and Storage system.

· Integrate the Third-party application and testing of installed systems, Applications & software.

· The ability to provide technical support for resolution of customer problems, incidents, issues, requests, and queries

· Liaise with other support teams, or product teams as required to resolve requests/issues in a timely manner

· Ensure proper documentation and notification updates

· Possess IT networking knowledge (Eg: CCNA and able to deploy/Setup L2/L3 network switches and routers).

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

· At least 2 - 3 Years of working experience in the related field.

· Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer/IT technology.

· Possess excellent, clear and concise communication skill which is crucial to the project deliverables.

· Possess adaptability to work as a member of several teams, which requires flexibility. Candidates interested in this role should be comfortable working in a matrixed IT environment

· Possess excellent analytical skill as the primary role of the security engineer’s job is to solve issues for the clients,

· The engineer will also have to proactively perform research, escalate, and resolve issues effectively

· Enterprise firewall experience – experience configuring and managing enterprise firewalls and gateway devices is important in this role

· Preferred knowledge or Experience not limited to the following applications and Skills:

VMS System : Genetec, Milestone, Aimetis, FLIR (DVtel), Lenel, Bosch, Hikvision
