Role:
Responsible for leading a team of facility management and maintenance professionals to ensure the efficient and safe operation of all plant facilities, including buildings, equipment, utilities, and infrastructure.
Facility
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations and maintenance of plant facilities, including buildings, equipment (Boiler, Air Compressor, Cold Rooms, Waste Water Treatment Plant, Reverse Osmosis Plant), utilities, and infrastructure.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and availability of critical equipment and systems.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to schedule and perform maintenance, repairs, and upgrades as needed.
- Monitor facility performance and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and safety.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to facility management and safety.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures to address facility-related incidents and ensure the safety of employees and the community.
- Manage facility-related budgets, expenses, and capital projects in collaboration with the Plant Manager.
- Provide leadership and guidance to facility management staff, including training, coaching, and performance management.
- Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders on facility-related matters.
- Support plant expansion, renovation, and construction projects as needed.
- Perform any ad-hoc duties or assignment when assigned by Superior.
Maintenance
Responsibilities:
- Implement and oversee a comprehensive equipment maintenance strategy aimed at minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
- Develop and execute timely responses to equipment breakdowns, ensuring uninterrupted operations for optimal functionality.
- Lead a highly trained and skilled maintenance team, fostering a culture of efficiency in diagnosing and resolving equipment issues promptly.
- Prioritize ongoing skill development to ensure the team stays abreast of the latest technologies and industry best practices.
- Ensure strict compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Coordinate internal and external audits successfully, consistently meeting or exceeding established standards.
- Manage an optimized equipment maintenance budget, striking a balance between cost-effectiveness and the seamless functioning of the department.
- Implement a streamlined spare parts inventory system to guarantee the timely availability of necessary components for maintenance and repairs.
- Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with vendors to facilitate cost-effective maintenance services and sourcing of spare parts.
- Negotiate favorable terms and agreements to enhance overall efficiency in the maintenance process.
- Uphold a supportive work environment that encourages open communication, teamwork and innovation.

Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant facilities management or related role, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong technical knowledge of building systems, equipment maintenance, and utility operations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and make sound decisions under pressure.
Experience with regulatory compliance, safety protocols, and emergency response procedures.
Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to facility emergencies as needed.
Candidate possess certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management – CePSWaM is a plus.
Candidate possess certified Environmental Professionals in the Operation of Industrial Effluent Treatment Systems (Biological Processes) – CePIETSO-BP is a plus.
Candidate possess certified Environmental Professionals in the Operation of Industrial Effluent Treatment Systems (Physical Chemical Processes) – CePIETSO-PCP is a plus.
Candidate possess certified 1st grade Boilerman is a plus.
