A Leading Independent School in Central London are looking for a Reprographics & Facilities Assistant to join them ASAP! This is initially a temporary role with the opportunity to become permanent in the future.
Reprographics & Facilities Assistant – Role:
- The Reprographics & Facilities Assistant provides full and efficient reprographic support to all teaching and support staff and manages and oversees the Reprographics room daily.
- They will fulfil all requests for printing and copying submitted by staff in a timely manner to meet any deadlines set.
- Ensure that equipment is maintained in a good working order, including arranging for any necessary repairs to be undertaken by specialist contractors.
- Manage the supplies and stock levels of all consumables required for printing and copying.
- Manage the school’s stationary procurement and allocation, placing orders, and keeping updated stock levels, place pupil’s stationary orders on behalf of Head of Departments for each subject for the entire school.
- Responsible for maintaining and adding security cards for staff and students to the school’s access control systems (Net 2), Engage, InVentry and Myfare systems. Ensuring they are continually updated and fully functioning.
- Provide cover for the receptions and facilities admin as and when necessary.
Reprographics & Facilities Assistant - Requirements:
- Ability to work in a systematic manner with attention to detail.
- Ability to use initiative.
- Solves routine, or basic problems (escalating more complex problems as
appropriate).
- Ability to work without supervision, prioritise workloads and work to deadlines.
- Finds the right balance between the need for thoroughness against the urgency of a response.
- Basic IT skills are essential.
- Manages routine day-to-day and week-to-week tasks effectively.
