About Us:
GT Advisory & Consulting Pty Ltd is a fast-growing insolvency and advisory accounting firm located on the Gold Coast. We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Executive Assistant to support our executive team and contribute to the success of our firm.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Executive Assistant to support the Principal and accountants, and to assist in the management of all administration elements of the firm. Being a smaller practice environment you will have the opportunity to excel in this dynamic team culture, gaining experience across all aspects of working in a professional practice firm, accelerating your career.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare, coordinate and complete documentation and communication for client work.
• Liaise with ASIC, the ATO and the like including using online platforms to generate and lodge forms.
• Support the accounting team with client service delivery.
• General office duties (mail, telephone, reception and the like).
• Assisting in maintaining accounts and registers for insolvency administrations utilising insolvency software.
• Assisting in co-ordination of business development events and material.
• Assist the Principal and accountants with tasks as needed and other general office and administrative duties as required.
• Researching and preparing reports, correspondence, and other routine documents.
• Maintaining confidential files and documents.
Our preferred applicant has
• At least three years’ full-time experience as personal/executive assistant or the part time equivalent.
• Some proven experience in a professional practice firm required. Applicants with no experience working within the administrative function of a professional practice firm need not apply;
• A dynamic, enthusiastic and self-motivated attitude to work both in a team and autonomously;
• Confidence in liaising directly with clients;
• A professional presentation as you will be meeting and greeting clients;
• A strong desire to support the professional team in all facets to improve the service provided to clients;
• Strong and proven Microsoft Office experience;
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, MYOB and/or Xero preferred but not essential;
• A desire to make the role your own, including taking responsibility for all administration elements of the firm.
Salary: AUD70,000 to AUD80,000 plus superannuation (salary range)
