The company has a reputable market position in developing high quality and customized Integrated Freight Solutions capabilities, and takes pride in ensuring optimized end-to-end supply chain and strategic operations management to achieve maximized customer satisfaction.
They are currently on an active look out for a suitable candidate as an experienced Regional Tender, Senior Analyst (Global Logistics Solutions Business).
He/she will be part of the Asia Tender Strategy team and a Subject Matter Expert in terms of ensuring effective strategic tender and bid management and optimal pricing strategies, to ensure workable logistics strategies for a highly scalable business growth to support the business’s strategic plans ahead.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to APAC Head of Tender Management, this position will be focusing on the below:
- Ensure optimal service performance compliance to make happen effective operational process improvements for assigned customer account(s), as well as that of newly approved suppliers etc. for both Ocean and Air Freight activities
- Active involvement in terms of regular performance reviews with assigned regional/ global suppliers, including that of deep diving into Value Engineering analysis for Freight Pricing and Contracts Management.
- Lead both customer and/or supplier end to end RFQ and bid processes, including that of active involvement in refinement of technical specifications etc.
- Identify opportunities to further improve the operational competency specific to efficient manner of safekeeping/ archival of important Contracts and Technical Specifications to ensure up-to-date methodology in place.
- Ensure maximum operational visibility by means of developing and introducing dashboards to properly manage key customer measurements and beyond
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5-7 years of relevant experience in end-to-end Tender/Bid Management role in a complex Logistics & Freight Management environment
- Proven track record in Logistics Tender & Pricing management skills, with acquired solution-oriented mind set
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills to relay and/or drive process improvements to important senior stakeholders
- Good change management skills to identify and streamline existing operational processes in line with business growth and strategic contracts negotiations
- Good understanding of SAP and equivalent ERP system is highly preferred
