Job Description
- Making strategic decisions and providing leadership and direction to project managers to implement those decisions
- Develop and lead a team of internal project/construction managers, assistants and coordinators to successfully deliver complex projects within a live dynamic environment.
- Selects and manages the training of project teams, assigning clear roles and responsibilities, providing effective supervision and managing performance
- Ensures projects deliver specified results and meet quality expectations
- Ensure all costs and risk updates are communicated and incorporated into the overall project reporting.
- Lead, direct, assist and support construction teams to ensure deliverable processes on time and within the budget.
- Prepare detailed, accurate timely project reports including work schedules, implementations, deviations, change in subcontractors, customer issues and other related problems.
- Follow all regulations related to projects and ensure they’re in compliance
- Develop a timeline for the completion of each project
- Develop an alternate plan for completing a job if needed
Job requirements
- Advanced degree preferred in a relevant field from an accredited university
- At least 9 years of experience in a leadership position managing more than one project
- Experience managing, designing, implementing and evaluating multiple projects
- Demonstrated interpersonal, management and communication skills ,Strong oral and written skills
- Knowledge of construction, engineering, procurement, industry standards and other project-related
- Demonstrated leadership experience and working with others.
- Proven ability to manage and lead teams to build collaboration and efficiency.
- Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts.
- Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, other team members, and outside contacts.
