Ā· Design mechanical and electro-mechanical components.
Ā· Integrate mechanical and electro-mechanical components into subsystems and assemblies.
Ā· Perform system packaging and high-level assembly modeling.
Ā· Perform interference analysis, design, and review designs per safety codes.
Ā· Analyse and respond to issues found at supplier or manufacturing sites during manufacturing assembly, integration, and test.
Ā· Develop or modify parametric 3D models and 2D drawings of designs including any mechanical routings as required.
Ā· Perform geometric dimensioning and tolerance with capabilities at a level1 certification level.
Ā· Release drawings and modify drawings using CAD tools.
Ā· Complete other engineering documentation if required concomitant with design release.
Ā· Conduct lab testing / evaluation of components if required.
Ā· Communicate with counterparts in Asia, Europe, and USA on a regular basis for various engineering projects.
Ā· Work with R&D team and identify new innovations and engineering research.
Ā· Create and maintain task calendar outlining engineering projects, results and provide reports as required.
Ā· Advise whether the product has a market demand and provide data analysis.
Ā· Must be able to work independently and in teams, handle multiple tasks and able to work to a high standard in an environment where tight timelines / deadlines are normal course.
