We are currently looking to recruit permanent Crew Members within our Converting Departments.
The Role
Working within our highly motivated Converting Team you will operate a range of equipment and machinery to convert finished products promptly whilst ensuring product quality is high.
You will be required to work to high levels of health & safety, quality, and housekeeping standards and will be expected to work within and contribute to our continuous improvement teams.
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient running of the equipment and may be required to undertake other duties as specified by the Multi Winder Operator/Team Leader.

With a willingness to learn, you will possess a demonstrable track record of working as an effective team member. Previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment will be a distinct advantage, however this is not essential as extensive training will be provided.
Efficient time management, organisation and communication skills are a prerequisite for this position. An awareness of Lean and 5S would be advantageous.
It is desirable that the successful candidate have at least 5 GCSE’s at level C or above, including mathematics and a science.
This position requires shift working therefore flexibility is essential.

Morson Technical Services are currently seeking an Avionic Worshop Technician on a permanent basis to be based at RNAS Yeovilton.
Main Activities and Tasks –
• Conduct testing, repair, configuration control, maintenance and calibrations on both aircraft avionics equipment and test equipment.
• Execute the assigned range of repairs within defined turnaround times in support of achieving the overall demand satisfaction rate.
• Support the avionics workshop at RNAS Yeovilton to comply with the UK MAA Regulatory Articles under MAOS Pt 145.
• Responsible for maintaining all documentation as well as keeping training records up to date.
• Support and respond to workshop managers instructions.
• Support and respond to QA audit findings.
• Assist in investigations and development activities.
• Assist and prepare reports where necessary.
• Communicate verbally and electronically with both MoD and Industry customers, partners and subcontractors.
• Liaise with multidiscipline teams; Technical, Logistical and Managerial.
• Provide Supervisor signature and coverage.
• Maintain technical authorisations and security clearance for the position.
• Ensure KP|s on workshop are consistently met or exceeded.
• Assist towards continuous improvement to reduce costs/waste and optimise the process/ procedures that govern the workshop under MAOS Part 145.
Knowledge Skill and Experience –
• Will be professionally accredited and / or possess considerable demonstrable experience and have substantial analytical and technical problem solving skills.
• Able to use Microsoft Office applications incting access and other software applications such as C-IETP, Resolve, SAM's and SAP.
• Able to meet the requirements of the CAMO and hold supervisory accountability.
• Possess good hand skills (Soldering, Crimping) and familiar with wiring husbandry and PTT regulations/ requirements.
• Must possess excellent communication and inter-personnel skills, with the ability to interact with subject matter experts regarding a wide range of technical and operational topics.
• Ability to innovate, develop and continuously improve the workshop technical solution, compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Self-motivated team player capable of working with minimum direction.
• Must be able to obtain technical authorisations and security clearance.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities of a Mobile Crane Operator
- Work to manufacturer's instructions at all times.
- Adhere to road traffic regulations.
- Ensure PPE is worn at all appropriate times
- Conversant with the correct use of outriggers and aware they should be used on level ground.
- Set and check the functioning of the rated capacity limiter and rated capacity indicator.
- Perform the correct use of manual handling i.e. Outrigger Pans.
- Liaise with Site Manager/Project Manager upon arrival on site.
- Be able to resist pressures from other persons to carry out unsafe operations.
- Able to assimilate and apply information contained in reports and duty charts relating to the range of duties and safe use of the crane.
- Be aware of the effects of wind and other climatic effects on the crane and load.
- Able to take the action to avoid dangerous situations, including stopping operations.
- Operate fire suppressant equipment, if fitted.
- Access and depart the crane by safe use of ladders and grab rails.
- Carry out training on specific models of crane, become familiar with rigging and maintenance procedures and conversant with all crane documentation.
- Continually seek to improve the way in which the role operates within the business to achieve its objectives.
