Key Responsibilities:
1. LC Issuance and Advising: Process applications for the issuance of Letters of Credit on behalf of clients, ensuring all terms and conditions are clearly defined and comply with international standards. Advise LCs to beneficiaries through their banks.
2. Document Verification: Scrutinize documents presented under LCs to ensure they comply with the terms and conditions

Retail Banking Trainees will join our team and learn about banking from the ground up! Throughout this temporary, summer program, Trainees will have the opportunity to work full-time in our Banking Centers, serve on the teller line, learn about career opportunities in banking and network with others across the organization. No prior banking experience required! Primary responsibilities will include teller transactions and supporting service and sales activities.
This position will be based in Ellsworth and will travel to provide support in Town Hill and surrounding locations as needed. Successful candidates will need to have flexibility to work Saturdays. Role is slated to start in May and run through August.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software and Internet software.
