The Securities & Derivatives Sr Manager is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to process orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for management of Risk Weighted Assets "RWA" Analytics within the Capital Controllers Group, specifically focused on derivatives analysis and RWA calculation relative to Basel Rule.

The candidate will work closely with key partners leading the Standardized RWA transformation efforts including Basel III Endgame readiness. Key partners including the Business, Markets Transformation, Chief Data Office (CDO), Capital Planning, Enterprise Technology Services (ETS), Corporate Regulatory Reporting (CRR) and Finance and Risk Senior Management.

This role will be responsible for managing the CISO Manager’s Control Assessment (MCA) Execution Team primarily responsible for developing and executing strategies to innovate, support and help lead global MCA Transformation efforts including approach design, development, implementation, reporting, and governance. Transaction Management will be responsible for supporting multiple aspects of the lending lifecycle including but not limited to loan closing and servicing coordination, facilitating complex client onboarding, data management, and quality control.  The team will be accountable and responsible for operational oversight of the closing and servicing of all loan transactions of the business division being supported to ensure all internal and external requirements are met.

Responsibilities:

• Working with internal and external partners in loan servicing, credit risk, Borrowers, and the servicer to process borrower requests (ex: lease reviews, Borrower restructures, property management changes, etc).
• Must have the ability to comprehend and interpret the credit memo and underwriting analysis to appropriately communicate issues to all pertinent parties and ensure all closing conditions are satisfied prior to closing.
• Requires knowledge and understanding of CCC’s various lending programs to make judgment calls and decisions throughout the closing process to ensure a successful closing.
• Review deal summary and legal documents to ensure the risk profile and deal structure are captured across all systems to allow for accurate financial and business reporting.
• Review title and survey comments prepared by counsel and follow up if required.
• Prepare closing settlement statement, review closing costs, coordinate with Operations to set up funding, and complete delivery package for post-closing servicing.
• Address borrower inquiries and have proper judgment experience to know when issues should be elevated.
• Assist with the creation of processes, standards, procedures, controls, training, and implementation of transaction management.
• Aid in the design and implementation of technology including testing and rollout.

The Summer Analysts will receive real-world work, and will be expected to add value to their teams during the 10 weeks.  In addition to their daily work, the Summer Analysts will also have the opportunity to network with other Citi interns, current program participants and alumni, and other HR professionals.  The program concludes with the Summer Analysts presenting their accomplishments and lessons learned to the Senior HR Management team.

Job Description

Citigroup’s Capital Planning organization is responsible for the firm’s capital planning activities across the full range of operating environments, from business-as-usual conditions, through stress, recovery and resolution (the Capital Planning continuum). These activities are essential to determining Citi’s target capital levels, dividends and share buybacks, level of Risk Weighted Assets and reported capital ratios.

The Capital Planning team coordinates the multi-year, multi-scenario forecasting exercise conducted on a quarterly basis and aggregates the forecasting results for internal reporting and for annual CCAR/DFAST submission to regulators using FRY-14A forms.

The Y14A Forecast Reporting Analyst will report to the Head of Y14A Projections Reporting and will contribute to the annual production process of the FRY-14A reports as well as the submission to the regulatory agencies.

They will also be responsible for defining and documenting the reporting process and the associated controls and specifying/testing enhancements to the regulatory reporting system.

The role will provide exposure to financial and regulatory reporting and will partner extensively with colleagues across Finance and Technology. Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and excellent interpersonal skills are required given the high level of interaction with several stakeholders throughout the firm. Additionally, the role requires a control mindset, strong project leadership and excellent communication skills.

Production Responsibilities

• Contribute to the annual production of the FRY-14A reports and the submission to the Federal Reserve and OCC in accordance to Capital Planning’s policies and procedures
• Focus on Internal Controls, design and implementation as well as Desktop procedures.
• Internal Audit background
• Regulatory reporting experience is a plus
• Contribute to the production process for FRY-14A bespoke submissions (technical re-submissions, ad’hoc requests from regulators etc.) and the annual dry-run
• Coordinate and track the submission of data by the forecasting workstreams to the regulatory reporting system (RegInsight)
• Execute first line of defense controls including edit checks to ensure completeness and accuracy of reported information and work with the forecasting workstreams to resolve issues
• Document reporting assumptions/decisions and control results
• Provide daily reporting of the status of the production activities

Off-cycle Responsibilities

• Work with the Head of Y14A Projections Reporting to identify areas for improvement in the FRY-14A reporting process and associated controls and own the implementation of remediation actions
• Collaborate with Technology to specify enhancements to the regulatory reporting system (RegInsight) or to upstream systems feeding RegInsight, define User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test cases and participate in the testing of system enhancements
• Enhance policies and procedures for the reporting process

The Universal Banker is responsible for providing exceptional service delivery to our internal and external customers in coordination with the Branch team. This position is responsible for supporting Risk Weighted Assets "RWA" Analytics within the Capital Controllers Group, specifically focused on derivatives analysis and RWA calculation relative to Basel Rule.

The candidate will work closely with key partners leading the Standardized RWA transformation efforts including Basel III Endgame readiness. Key partners including the Business, Markets Transformation, Chief Data Office (CDO), Capital Planning, Enterprise Technology Services (ETS), Corporate Regulatory Reporting (CRR) and Finance and Risk Management.

The candidate will have a strong understanding of trading book exposures and a solid track record of performing detailed financial analysis, root cause analysis, impact assessments, financial reporting, Board reporting, and developing key performance indicators to measure success.

Key success factors will be this position’s ability to deliver on key milestones within the finance transformation efforts, establish trusted partner relationships with key stakeholders and effective expectation management through superior communication and metrics within the RWA workspace.

Responsibilities:

• Support analysis of Basel RWA Reporting based on US Regulatory requirements.  Primary focus will be on the Trading Book RWA (Derivatives)
• Assess impact of transforming derivatives RWA data model
• Build standard metrics reporting, impact assessments, and reporting of ongoing monitoring of any exceptions
• Recommend goals, changes, and plans for RWA Reporting for relevant scope
