Sales Account Manager

£28,000 - £35,000, dependent on experience
Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
We are currently hiring for a Sales Account Manager position on behalf of our client, a leading distribution company based in Middleton. We are seeking two experienced individuals to join their growing team. With over 30 years of specialisation, our client is an industry leader and this is an excellent opportunity to join their dynamic team.
This is a permanent role with an immediate start date.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and nurture existing accounts, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
• Cross-sell the full range of products to ensure clients receive a well-rounded service.
• Respond to email and telephone inquiries from customers.
• Coordinate with the logistics department to arrange carrier transportation, deliveries, and returns for customers.
• Record all collections and deliveries in the company's systems and order necessary stock.
• Assist with any other administrative or account management tasks as needed by the Office Manager.
Person Specification:
• Prior experience in internal sales, account management, or business development roles.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt style to individual customers.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with a focus on producing high-quality work.
