Location: Leeds, LS15 (with hybrid working after completion of training)

As our Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the ambitious growth and expansion of our company, by identifying new business partner opportunities, building, and maintaining relationships with clients/partners, and developing strategic and tactical initiatives to enhance market presence.

What you’ll be doing?
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, changes in the market, and potential new partners
Analyse sector-leading organisations for new trends and changes within the sector ecosphere
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of partner trust and satisfaction, becoming their ‘go to partner’ for new opportunities
Identify and engage with potential partners through networking, introductions, cold calling, and attending industry events
Develop and implement business development strategies and tactical plans to achieve company growth objectives
Drive and create revenue growth by identifying and securing new business/partnership opportunities
Identify and establish strategic partnerships and alliances to expand the company’s audience and capabilities
Monitor and report on business development activities and performance
Provide regular updates and new opportunity presentations to senior stakeholders and steering committees
Monitor and analyse performance progress vs budget regularly, to identify any problems and manage risk
Who are we looking for?
Experience of managing partnerships and building a successful business development pipeline, coupled with a good understanding of digital technologies
Strong, proven track record in business development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in an incredibly fast-paced and dynamic environment
Experience of securing corporate new business,relationship management and partnership development
Detailed understanding of the pharmacy /health technology landscape
Experience of tender submission processes, bid writing, submission entries or collaboration in the bid writing and submission process
Thrives under pressure – is able to manage time and competing priorities, specifically in the context of balancing a portfolio of partners or stakeholders
Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with an ability to develop existing partnerships or secure new business to meet targets and deliver return on investment
Strong networking and relationship-building skills
Technically minded and/or able to quickly grasp technical concepts and considerations relating to partner opportunities
