Job Duties:
Installing hardware and software, performing troubleshooting to solve IT issues, and maintaining our networks and servers.
Monitoring and maintain servers, and networks; upgrading, installing, and configuring new hardware, and software to meet company objectives.
Manage users, groups & computers, active directory System maintenance (trouble shooting, dual booting, disk management, unattended installation, install active directory, terminal services, RIS, DNS, DHCP).
Configure access points wireless networks.
Remote installation and administration.
Installation and troubleshooting of Windows 07/Vista/98/ 2000/XP Network connectivity: Monitoring and maintaining LAN connectivity inside the organization.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, connection, printer and software issues reported to the Service Desk.
Update network applications as required.
Maintain daily tape backup and off-site tape storage.
Troubleshoot and resolved all problems encountered with hardware and software.
Train and assisted user on new desktop and applications.
Documenting processes, developing data retrieval, and recovery procedures creating user accounts, and performing access control
Designing and implementing efficient end-user feedback and error reporting systems
Supervising and mentoring IT department employees, and supporting IT.
Answer and render solutions to IT related questions from staff.
Assist clients on the phone to help resolve technical issues.
Any other task in relation to the work.
Skills Required:
AQF associate degree/Diploma
At least 03 years of relevant experience and/or relevant certification may substitute for the formal qualification.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to ensure technical problems are managed efficiently and effectively.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Excellent communication skills, strong customer focus, and stakeholder management
Ability to work autonomously, but also a strong team player mindset.
